"Expected to improve VR medical service"
Korea University Research and Business Foundation (President Ko Je-sang) and M2S recently announced that they have signed a technology transfer agreement of treatment and services based on VR with researchers from the Korea University Medical Center.
Young-wook Yoon, Director of Research and Education and Korea University Research and Business Foundation (Department of Physiology, Korea University College of Medicine), Byung-Jo Kim, Director of the Office for Planning(department of neurology from Korea University Anam Hospital), professor Young-Woo Suh (Ophthalmology from Korea University Ansan Hospital) agreed to continue joint research and development for successful commercialization of 'Ophthalmology Screening and Treatment Method'.
The technology transfer was 4 cases, 2 ophthalmology related cases, 1 medical service design and 1 case of interpersonal fear treatment.
Specifically, it is a large-scale business that designs processes for the entire medical field to improve the quality of hospital services based on the development of equipment for breakthrough eye examinations and treatments, new medical contents and differentiated technologies.
Ko Je-sang, Director of Industry-University Cooperation, said, “Thank you for the efforts of our professors and employees who developed the technologies that will be the core of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.”
